Play De Record
Play De Record is a student concept project done over one week at General Assembly. I created a PC e-commerce experience for a small local business, Play De Record. This fully-interactive wireframe and prototype explores the idea of designing a better e-commerce experience to bring more customer attention to the shop using the website.
Case Study
Play De Record needs to move into selling products online in order to continue being competitive, particularly with an emphasis on providing enough information on product pages. We want the shopping experience to be as similar as the in store experience. Play De Record’s customers love the in-store shopping experience provided by business owner Eugene, who has owned the store for the last 30 years.
The Primary User
Although we were given an initial primary user, it was up to myself to validate this user through our user research, surveys and building user persona’s.
The Careful Critic
The Careful critic loves product photos, reviews and lots of product descriptions. They often take their time before making a purchase. They will also consider price and rarity.
